Most quilts these days are mass-produced using poly/cotton blend fabrics and light polyester filling. We choose to do things the way GRANDMA used to do in the good old days--using 100% cotton batting. Cotton is all natural, it is warm and comfortable, and gives our quilts the good "OLD TIMEY LOOK". We also "Tea-Dye" some designs to give an "antique" look.

Our sizes are 18% to 25% larger than the department store sizes. Compare sizes when you compare prices, most department stores (and some competitors) offer sizes that are really too small  to provide any "drop" on the sides of the bed. You may end up paying for King size quilt just to cover a Queen size bed. Please keep this in mind when comparing  prices  because our Queen size is often larger than their King size.
We use plain backing on our quilts, to better see the quilting stitches! Printed backing makes it hard to see the hand quilting and can usually be found on quilts with less hand quilting.
